We’ve been a downtown Halifax staple for over 30 years, lovingly frequented by young and old alike. We carefully source our products from small scale producers and artisans across India, Bali, Nepal & Thailand.
Who We Support ❤
The Black Market has been focused on directly supporting children that we have met on our travels and through charities for over 20 years.
We are currently supporting 14 children directly as well as 5 through Plan Canada, 5 with Bali Childrens Project and many more through Care For Children.
Since the outbreak of Covid we have been distributing food support to many families in Bali struggling with food security.
Our annual Christmas fundraiser has been supporting such charities as the Ecology Action Center, Feed Nova Scotia, Parker Street Food Bank, Brunswick Street Mission, Shelter Nova Scotia, International Conservation Fund of Canada and many other organizations in our community.
